My 06-07 Utah Jazz Prediction

The Utah Jazz start their season tonight. In fact, they are playing right now. I will watch them on my Tivo here in a bit.

Before every season, I usually try to make some kind of prediction. I say I get pretty darn close but I can’t prove it because I’ve never actually wrote them down or made them public in any way. So here are my predictions for the season.

The Jazz will go 51-31 and finish in first place in their division. That means they will make the playoffs, probably as a third seen. They will also make it to the second round of the playoffs.

So how are the Jazz going to do?

The Jazz will go 48-34 and will be a five seed in the west as Denver will finish 2 games up on them. They will face the Spurs in the first round and will get shellacked 4-1 and everyone will want Jerry’s head on a platter. BTW-Kirilenko will get injured and miss 30 games and Deron Williams will eventually get on Jerry’s #$%#$%-list. It should be fun though.
