My Bookmarks Are Gone After Firefox Upgrade

I went to retrieve a bookmark in Firefox today and they were all gone. I instantly started to panic. I had so many bookmarks. This was not good.

Was it because of the auto-upgrade of the browser to 1.5.0.5? I couldn’t find anything on the net to indicate that others were having the same problem. But luckily, I had recently made a backup of some stuff and my bookmarks were included. I was able to restore them without any problems.

But this gives me a good reason to do something I have been wanting to do for quite sometime. I will be setting up a del.icio.us account to keep my bookmarks. This will allow me to use different browsers but keep the same bookmarks. I’ll add my favorites once I get my account.
